About Grate Slice — Relaxing Cutting Game

There is a reason ASMR videos of people cutting soap and slicing fruit get millions of views. Something about a clean cut just works on the brain. Grate Slice figured that out and built a whole game around it. No enemies, no timers counting down to failure, no complicated systems to learn before the fun starts. Just items sitting there waiting to be sliced and a tap that sets the whole thing in motion. Watermelons, apples, vegetables, meat — everything gets its turn on the cutting board. The game runs across more than a hundred levels and never really asks anything stressful from the player. A solo mode handles the relaxed side of things. Multiplayer is there for anyone who wants to turn slicing into a race. Neither one takes long to understand. Both are worth trying.

Features

  • Tap and hold to grate or slice through fruits, vegetables, meat and more
  • Every cut comes with satisfying audio and visual feedback
  • 100 plus levels with different items and obstacle layouts throughout
  • Single player mode that moves at whatever pace the player sets
  • Multiplayer mode where both players race to hit 100 points first
  • One tap is the only control input the game ever needs
  • Obstacles appear between items and require letting go at the right moment
  • Screen size does not matter — the game adjusts for phones, tablets and computers
  • Nothing locked, nothing complicated, nothing standing between the player and the cutting

Game Controls

Step 1 - Choose Single Player or Multiplayer

That decision happens before anything else. Solo means working through levels alone without any pressure. Multiplayer means racing someone to the same target. Either way, the actual cutting works exactly the same.

Step 2 - Tap to Start Cutting

An item fills the screen. Tap and hold to begin. The blade moves through whatever is sitting there and points start adding up. Keep holding until something gets in the way or the item is done.

Step 3 - Let Go Before the Obstacles Hit

Obstacles slide in between items. Cutting into one disrupts the run and drops points that were already collected. The timing is not complicated — just watch what is coming and release the tap a moment before it arrives.

Step 4 - Get Back Into It Quickly

Once the obstacle clears, the cutting starts again. Fast recovery between obstacles is what keeps the points flowing at a steady rate. Waiting too long between cuts just slows you down.

Step 5 - Hit 100 Points to Clear the Level

That number is the only target. In solo mode, reaching it at any pace clears the level and opens the next one. In multiplayer, whoever gets there first wins the round. The item selection changes between levels but the goal never does.

Step 6 - Keep Going Through the Levels

Each new level shuffles what is being cut and where the obstacles land. Nothing dramatic shifts between one level and the next — the difficulty eases upward gradually rather than throwing anything unexpected at the player.

FAQ's

Completely free. Open it and start playing without any purchase or sign-up standing in the way.

Yes, phone, tablet and desktop all run it without issues. Touchscreen tapping handles everything on mobile the same way a mouse click does on a computer.

Two players play side by side, cutting the same items. First to 100 points wins.

Over a hundred. The items and obstacle patterns change often enough that the levels do not start blending together for a while.

Points drop and the flow gets interrupted. The game does not end outright but recovering from a bad obstacle hit costs time and momentum. Cleaner runs score significantly better than messy ones.

For most, it is. The sounds and slow pace make it feel easy and not tiring.
