Idle Business Manager
About Idle Business Manager
It is a common thought that most people have had before. What if someone else just did the work, and the money still came in? That is not laziness, that is the entire premise of every idle game ever made. And this one leans into it fully, without apology.
Idle Business Manager starts you off with basically nothing. One small business, a trickle of income, and a list of upgrades you cannot afford yet. You tap to earn, the money slowly accumulates, and the first thing you do is hire someone to keep the business running when you stop tapping. That single hire changes everything. Suddenly, money is coming in without constant clicking. You take that money and buy another business. Then you hire a manager for that one, too. And then you are sitting there watching two businesses run themselves while you figure out what to open next.
That loop earn, upgrade, automate, expand is the whole game. And it works. The satisfaction of watching a business you set up generate income on its own while you focus on scaling the next one does not get old as quickly as you would expect. Each new business type comes with its own upgrade path. Each advisor you hire pushes production higher. Numbers that started in the hundreds are in the millions before you realize how long you have been playing.
The advisor system is what separates players who progress fast from those who plateau. Hiring the right advisors at the right time and leveling them up consistently matters. Neglect that side of the game, and income growth slows down noticeably. Stay on top of it, and the money scales faster than you can spend it.
Multiple businesses operate across different industries. You are not just running one shop that gets bigger; you are building a portfolio. Food, retail, entertainment, and tech each earn differently, upgrade differently, and contribute to an empire that keeps growing the longer you stay in.
There is no pressure. No timer. No fail state. Come back after an hour and collect everything the businesses earned while you were gone. That offline income system means every session starts with a reward, which is a genuinely smart design choice for a game that asks you to keep coming back.

Game Controls
- When you start, you have one business and very little money coming in. Click it manually to generate your first income. Do not stop clicking until you can afford the first upgrade — that is your only job in the opening minutes.
- The moment you can afford to hire your first advisor or manager, do it. This is the most important move in the early game. A hired manager means that the business keeps earning when you are not running it. From here, you stop grinding and start managing.
- Once the first business is automated, put all focus on saving up to open a second one. Two businesses earning passively are better than one business fully upgraded. Spread first, deepen later.
- Keep hiring and upgrading advisors. Each level adds to their production output. Check the advisor screen regularly — it shows clearly what upgrading each one will do to your total income per second or per minute.
- Reinvest profits into upgrades rather than sitting on cash. Money sitting idle in this game is money not compounding. Every time you have enough for a meaningful upgrade, spend it.
- When an investment opportunity appears, look at the return rate and timeline before committing. Some investments pay back fast and should be taken every time. Some investments hold your money for too long at the start of the game.
- Keep the game open in the background to continue earning money over time. Close the tab and come back later — offline earnings will have stacked up. Collect them and use the lump sum to unlock something you could not afford before.
- When the prestige or reset option appears, think carefully before using it. Resetting wipes the current progress but grants permanent multipliers that make the next run significantly faster. Most experienced idle game players reset earlier rather than later because the multiplier value outweighs the short-term loss.

FAQ's
Yes, completely free on Khelogy. No download, no account, no payment screen. The game runs directly in your browser.
Both, depending on how far in you are. Early on, you click manually to build up enough money for the first hire. Once advisors are in place, the businesses run without you. Later in the game, you barely need to click at all, just check in, collect offline earnings, reinvest, and leave again. The game is designed to need less of your attention the further you progress.
The offline earnings system keeps your businesses generating income even when the game is not open. When you come back and load the game, you collect everything that built up while you were away. The longer you are gone, the bigger the payout. It is one of the better-designed parts of the game.
Prestige wipes your current money and business progress in exchange for a permanent multiplier that makes all future income higher from the start. It feels like a step backward, but it is not. Players who reset at the right time progress far faster in subsequent runs than those who refuse to reset and hit a growth ceiling. When the game offers it, consider taking it.
The game does not have a fixed ending. The goal is to keep expanding your business empire, stack income multipliers, unlock every business type, and hit numbers that would have seemed impossible at the start. Players who enjoy watching progress compounds indefinitely will find plenty to keep them going. There is no final screen, just bigger numbers.
Both work. The offline earnings system means a five-minute check-in is genuinely productive — collect earnings, spend them, set the next upgrade in motion, and close the tab. Or you can sit with it for an hour and actively manage the whole portfolio. The game does not punish either style
