Impostor Color Sort Puzzle

At some point, someone looked at Among Us and thought What if instead of voting people off a spaceship, you just sorted them by color into tubes? And honestly? That idea works better than it has any right to.

Impostor Color Sort Puzzle takes those familiar stubby little crewmate characters and turns them into a logic puzzle. The setup is clean. You have a bunch of tubes filled with impostors of different colors, all mixed. Your job is to move them around until every tube holds only one color. One color per tube. All sorted. Done.

The first few levels feel easy. Maybe too easy. You are moving characters around, things are clicking into place, and you think you have figured out the whole game. Then new colors get introduced. The tubes get tighter. Obstacles show up blocking moves you were counting on. The game starts easily, but later levels require planning and smarter decisions to avoid mistakes. That shift from relaxed to challenging is what makes it work. The game never announces that it is about to get harder. It just does. A level that seems identical to the last one turns out to have one extra color or one less empty tube, and that changes everything. You feel the difference immediately.

The character choice is a nice touch. These are not just colored blocks or balls; they are impostors. Little Among Us-style figures stacked in tubes, waiting to be sorted. It gives the whole thing a bit of personality that a generic color sort game would not have.

1. When the level loads, take a few seconds to look at all the tubes before touching anything. Count the colors, count the empty tubes, and get a rough picture of what needs to go where. Players who click immediately without looking tend to hit dead ends faster.
2. Click on a tube to select the top impostor character in it. The character lifts slightly to show it is selected. Then click the tube you want to move it into. The move only works if the destination tube is not full and the top character there matches the one you are moving — or if the tube is empty.
3. Work on completing one color at a time, where possible. Start with the color that already has the most matching pieces together and finish sorting that first.
4. Empty tubes are valuable. Do not fill them without a plan. They act as temporary holding spaces when you need to free up a trapped color underneath other characters. Burning through empty tubes carelessly is how most levels become unsolvable.
5. When an obstacle appears in a tube, it blocks access to whatever is underneath it. You cannot move through it. Reroute your plan around it and work from the tubes that are still fully accessible.
6. If you realize a move was wrong, hit the undo button immediately. The game lets you step back without restarting. Use it freely; there is no penalty for undoing moves. 
7. Starting fresh is often faster than trying to fix a puzzle with no good moves left. 
8. Complete the level by getting every tube to hold only one color with no mixed characters remaining. The game clears the level and moves you to the next one.

Controls

• Left Click on a Tube — Select the top impostor character in that tube
• Left Click on Another Tube — Move the selected character into that tube
• Left Click on Same Tube — Deselect the current character
• Undo Button (on screen) — Reverse the last move
• Restart Button (on screen) — Reset the current level from the beginning
• Next Level Button — Proceed to the next puzzle after completing a level
• Mouse Movement — Navigate between tubes and on-screen buttons
